Marlborough Farmers Market thanks everyone for their support over the past year, helping us recover from covid shutdowns, weather bombs and all else that gets thrown at open air markets, growers and producers. The market is booming and will continue to grow with your continued custom
Recently
Due to high winds we had to go inside last week , which created a cosy inside vibe, although a bit squished and dusty, we still had a bumper market.
What else is happening?
Annette will be back with her Delicious Snail House bakery products
Pedro will be back with 9 flavours of empanadas
Drop The Beet will be back with plenty of healthy fresh juice options
Three Cats is having a break this week
Sweet Creations and Nelson Shroomery two of our newer stalls will be back
Koromiko Eggs will be back and coming every second Sunday for the next few months
Mama Lou's will be selling Iced Chai Tea this week as well as her amazing apple fritters and crumbed mushrooms
Info Stall
We have the ATM operating for anyone wanting cash. We also have many products for sale, all produced in Marlborough with local ingredients. These products have very little travel hours, and showcase the amazing produce that Marlborough can offer
Drop the Beet
Drop the BEET will be at the market this Sunday with 500ml bottles and 360ml eco cups of cold-pressed juice. Remember to bring your clean empty bottles for your bottle deposit refund or discount !
Flaxbourne Olive Oil
We are a Single Estate olive oil producer. This simply means that we only use olives that we
have grown ourselves here on our estate in Ward. We know exactly what has happened during the production of the oil, from spraying the trees, harvesting the olives, pressing 95% of the olives here on site, and bottling the oil. We supply the oil in two bottle sizes of 250ml & 500ml. We can also supply larger sized cans if required. If you are into recycling, then just bring a sterilised 750ml or 1L bottle along and have it refilled from the can. We even give a little discount for returning the oil bottles.
So come along and try one of our four wonderful olive oils.
Gourmet Deli
Gourmet-deli has lemon curd blueberry scones , roasted strawberry shortcake . Gluten free pork pies, gluten free roasted strawberry sweet tarts .
Gluten free spinach feta quiche.
Great large jumbo sausage rolls and many other tantalising homemade treats.

This Sunday Andrew will have delicious, sweet and juicy Apricots for sale at the Marlborough Farmer's Market.
Freshly picked peaches ...wow! They smell so sweet and taste delicious!!!

Mississippi Herbs has just a few new season's jalapeños, the beginning of the deluge of zucchini and scallopini, and the remainder of their new season garlic which has been incredibly popular (and pungent)!
SharpAs Tool Tip
I have had many queries whether I sharpen scissors. Yes I sharpen all types from specialised hairdresser scissors, to fabric scissors, and general purpose scissors.
