We now have Olive Oil available at Limrose.    The olives for this oil have come from 70-year old trees which are spray-free, delicious Extra Virgin 250mls for $8.

I’m a huge fan of the Italian Donuts at DeBroods – Bombolini are just $3.50 each.  Also made in the Italian tradition are the divine Biscotti at Riverina – finely sliced with a hint of citrus and the perfect companion with a cheeky red.

Daniel from Kaikoura Cheese is back in Blenheim selling a delicious range of artisan cow’s cheese – I highly recommend his “Love & Fury”.  Next door you’ll find the perfect accompaniment with the wonderful range of chutneys, relishes and jams at Traditional Country Preserves – try the newly released Fejoa Relish.

The Marmalaarder has sprayfree avocados, Meyer & Lisbon lemons available, and just in season are their charming PaperWeights and Jonquils – $3 a bunch or 2 bunches for $5.  Don’t miss the remarkable $4 bouquets of Kale, Proteas and Leucadendrons at Purple Patch.

Come and meet Rose at Marlborough Nursery – she has a great range of ‘Winter Window Boxes” filled with edibles.  Now in charge, Rose has been working at the nursery for over ten years and she’s a gardening expert, “Now’s the time to plant your brassicas and onions!”.

It’s always ‘Fish Surprise’ at Ngamahau depending on the catch during the week in Cook’s Straight.  Last week: Butterfish, Blue Cod, Moki, Monkfish and Smoked Salmon – I’m looking forward to this week’s choice.

The range of European cured meats and sausages at Peter the Swiss Butcher are enticing.  Now you can eat one on the spot!  Peter is selling European Hot Dogs with his homemade tomato sauce … delectable!

Of course there’s several Queens living at Garden Bees creating their delicious honey!  As the weather starts to chill, I thought it also worth mentioning their fabulous range of natural lip balms (just $3.50), salves (muscle rub $6.50) and soaps (newly released cuties 80c).

Back due to popular demand is the delightful Sander from Karaka Cuisine with his Mystery Menu.  HIs trademark mouthwatering morsels will be inspired by the delicious fresh ingredients available at the market stalls on Sunday morning.
