Traditional Country Preserves still have some gift baskets and bon-bons for those last minute gifts. They can also send baskets around New Zealand but this Sunday is your last chance to organise it – cut off for Christmas delivery is North Island Monday 18 Dececmber, South Island Wednesday 21 December, and you need to allow 2 extra days for rural delivery.  Get in now for your favourite condiments as stock is flying off the shelves at present.

They are unsprayed and ready to eat without peeling, a convenient size for a meal so no lingering leftovers to clutter up the fridge and a steal at just 50c each! There is a good supply of basil this weekend too, in bunches or bags if you want to make your own pesto.

This weekend Purple Patch will have Dwarf green beans and butter beans, plums, calla lilies and sunflowers, as well as calla lilies in pots – which make a great gift.
