Need a guilt free wholesome diet after all the Christmas chocolates? Maia Ahimsa from Earthbound will be doing a 30-minute workshop on ‘Shedding light on a plant-based wholefoods diet – debunking 5 common myths’. 

She will also be bringing along homemade Bliss Balls for tasting and sharing her recipe.

Long Acre Kitchen, the Gourmet Deli, Feast Merchants, The Swiss Butcher, and Pedros will be there to fill all hungry tummies.

Market Highlights

Tis the season for summer fruit and we have plenty of variety at the market – strawberries, blueberries, apricots, plums, nectarines, cherries, blackberries…


Stock up your fruit bowls and picnic baskets with tree ripened yellow peaches and nectarines and hopefully…weather depending white flesh and yellow flesh apricots

Thank you everyone for your patience and wait in the long queue last week…we hope you enjoyed your delicious tree ripened stone fruit and we look forward to bringing you more deliciousness this week.  Some varieties are running behind due to all this wet, murky weather…so may have limited supplies of some fruits this weekend.

Need a gift for someone special? Traditional Country Preserves has tasty small thank you gifts and baskets for birthdays and anniversaries.

Margaret is busy catching up on products sold out of over the last few weeks and started processing the new seasons fresh fruit supplies from other Farmers market shareholders.

A big thank you to all our customers that have made 2018 such a great year and last Sunday and our best ever day and to fellow stallholders for your help, fellowship and fun.

The Purple Patch

Go and see Judith for the first of the new season’s crop of spray free dwarf green and butter beans – perfect for New Year’s dinner.

Add some sunflowers and callas to the dining table and some lemons to the fruit bowl.

We are spoilt for choice with flowers. You will find more flowers at the Potshed, and from Verve. Meander the market to find your favourites.

BBQ, tramping, entertaining?

The market now offers plenty of carnivore choices for the dinner table.
