It’s the long weekend. Yippee. If you haven’t gone away, you will want to come along to treat yourself to some locally grown goodies awaiting you at the market.

Great coffee and awesome produce, worth a visit to get some tasty bread, fresh veggies and awesome fruit!

Bronson Dredge, Market Customer

The Gourmet Deli, Feat Merchants are our main food trucks laying on brunch with seasonal produce like avocado, strawberries and blueberries. There is gelato to chill in the summers’ sun, and cold pressed juice in fun and healthy flavours.

Fruit tees are all the rage, and Alys from Homemade.Kiwi is right on trend with her new summer flavoured fruit trees.

Take time at the market to stock up on fresh summer fruit, breads, crunchy cucumbers and salad greens. Let’s face it, could you get fresher elsewhere? Perhaps from your own garden. See Helen from Helen’s Garden Plants about what is ideal to plant right now.

See you Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 til noon at A&P Showgrounds.

Snailhouse Bakery

Yes I’m coming to market on Sunday. It’s the  long weekend and I’m sure my lovely customers want to stock up on yummy, healthy sourdough bread and freshly made probiotic red and white sauerkraut.

I’m trying a small amount of GF free, vegan, allergy friendly, fruity tea loaf.  I will have Spice buns, plenty of seasonal plum cake and lots of crackers and of course the new favorite Afghans and  lots more.

Golden Mile Produce

Golden Mile Produce still has stunning, juicy, sweet strawberries…in fact we will have them for weeks yet. Our cucumbers are short green and crunchy.  Great in your sandwiches, salads, pickles and fabulous on hot day as a slice in a tall cool gin. Keeping with the green theme, courgettes are plentiful. Try making a courgette brownie, chocolaty, fudgy and secretly green! Could be a win for school lunchboxes?

See you Sunday, Sally and Stephen
