Ten days to go til Christmas, don’t fret, we have two more Sunday markets to get you sorted. Yay.

The Marlborough District Brass was a stunner last week. Once again we are lucky to have the them back to play a mix of Christmas carols. The talented brass musicians couldn’t create a better Christmas atmosphere.

We also have young Devon showing us how to create economic and refreshing drinks with his homemade cordials and market produce between at 10.30-11am.

If you are after frozen French pastries or French pate for Christmas, make sure you place your orders with stall holders this Sunday so you don’t miss out on your Christmas treats next week.

We welcome another new stall holder from Nelson. Cultivate joins our 50-plus stall holder family with Oyster mushrooms.

The market is brimming with summer fruit, fresh veggies, and yummy foodie gift ideas (none of which you would find in national chain stores).

Come and stroll the market to the tunes of the cheery brass band Christmas carols, sort your Christmas gifts, stock up on fresh produce, and grab a bite to eat.

Our recipe this week is a cherrilicious smoothie from Eden Orchards.

We have more news from our newest and regular stall holders below.

See you Sunday, 9 til noon, rain or shine

Welcome

Welcome to “Cultivate”, our newest stallholder. Joe and Naomi Dakin are mushroom growers based in Nelson. They will be offering you fresh and preserved Oyster Mushrooms. Cultivate’s Preserved Mushrooms come in three flavours: Smoked, Tapenade and Pickle.
