This Sunday is a special day for our dads. We are incredibly grateful to all the dads who chose our market to bring their family. Our treat this weekend for you is Johnnie who will be entertaining. What treats have you got planned to show him your appreciation?
We have a few ideas for the foodie dad:
For the foodie dad who likes the outdoors –Swiss Butcher Landjaeger dry-cured sausage will not go amiss. Landjaeger is German for hunter. The cured salami is ideal for the outdoors, it is small enough to fit into a pocket and won’t need refrigeration on the next hunting, fishing or hiking trip.
For the foodie dad who likes to entertain – a selection of nuts, pickles, fresh fruit and award winning cheeses.
For the foodie dad who likes breakfast in bed –if you are lucky enough to have dad live with you, come early and take home some fresh eggs, a croissant or two, some preserves and naturally cured bacon with no preservatives and serve up a scrumptious cooked breakfast in bed.
For the early riser foodie dad, who has had breakfast by 9am – shout him brunch at the market.
Whichever option you chose, the Market is here to help you say thank you to the special guy who is looking out for you.
See you Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 til noon at A&P Showgrounds.

FREE SOUP TASTING THIS WEEK
One of our top favourite soups is “Creamy Roasted Garlic & Cauliflower” and this is the one we are tasting this Sunday. It contains, cauliflower, garlic, onions carrots and spices. The garlic is not too strong, just enough to add to the lovely flavour. As usual with most of our soups, we have added a can of coconut cream.
The soup packs sell for $7.50 and will make 3 generous servings or you can buy three packs of your choice for $20.
Many thanks, Alys
