Yippee we hear all cheese lovers say who have been waiting for Cranky Goat’s return.

In other good news we welcome a group of Marlborough Girls College students to the market. They have started a business called Keep N Fresh as part of the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme. The girls will be selling an all-natural fruit fresh atomizer that can help prevent half eaten fruit from going brown while sitting in children’s lunch boxes.

Boom Spice and Sauce and Windsong return from a break. Our fortnightly stallholder Limrose Grove joins the many regulars that make the market a fun Sunday morning place to visit.

We are expecting a sunny day, so come along for your fresh supplies of eggs, veggies, fruit, almonds and walnuts, tempeh, limes, honey, fresh baking, microgreens, apples, pears, kiwifruit, asparagus, free range pork, and pretty spring flowers.

Street food will be catered for by Pedro, Delicia, Long Acre Farm, and Boom Spice and Sauce.

See you Sunday, 9 til noon, rain or shine

Market Highlights from our stall holders

Cranky Goat

The cheese season is upon us!

The wonderful goats that supply amazing milk to Cranky Goat have returned from maternity leave and are ready for another great season.

This Sunday you can find Hellene back at the market with the well loved fresh range such as the soft goats cheese, smoked goat cheese, chilli cheese and provencal (mixed herbs and garlic).

Stock is limited for the first few weeks so get in quick! See you there!

The first of the asparagus for the season sold out quickly last week. Until the weather warms up more, you will have to be quick again this Sunday.

Traditional Country Preserves

Traditional Country Preserves

New product alert.

Margaret took delivery of this year’s supply of Tamarillos including some golden Tamarillos which she has been told by the grower makes great Golden Tamarillo and Orange marmalade. You will be able to try it for the first time on Sunday.

Also, it’s the last of the Tua Marina walnuts for this season.

Keep N Fresh

Keep N Fresh is a Marlborough Girls College student business joining the community stall this weekend for the first time. Come and have a chat to the youth and their business venture and test their natural fruit fresh atomizer.

Snailhouse Bakery

Annette says she is coming loaded up with your favourites. As you know, she likes making extra treats, this week it’s cherry pies, apple strudel and Brezels along with sourdough bread the good old German way, no additives!

Community Stall

The Eden Orchards Cherry Juice has been popular in the few weeks that it has been available at the market.

We now have pure cherry juice in 750ml and 375ml bottles available.

NEW! Eden Orchards sparkling water and Cherry Juice mixture is a refreshing drink on the go! The perfect size for taking to work, or for the kids after school, it’s preservative and sugar free, but designed for those times when you need a ready to drink treat.
