For the first time last weekend we had tables and the children’s area out again, like the “olden days”. It was great to see both well used.

Garden Bees have delicious lavender, meadow, bush, and urban multifora honey, all natural and raw. All these 1 kg pots will be on special for $14.00 per kg for the rest of June, excludes cream and manuka.
There are many interesting knives on the market for use in the kitchen. An interesting one crossed Ron’s bench the other day, designed by no other than Mr Porsche. Great feel and balance, high quality steel, very smart design. There are numerous high-quality brands on the market. However, if you don’t want to spend quite that amount on a knife, there is a range of knives that the butchers and freezing workers use called Victory and they give good value for money available locally. If you have an interesting knife, Ron would be interested to see it.
Traditional Country Preserves
Stop by Margaret’s stall to taste her new Blackcurrant concentrate. She dilutes it and keeps it hot in a thermos. Last week’s sampling was well received, so she will make another batch!
As the weather gets colder, Margaret’s garlic sauce is gaining popularity. It is used a lot in casserole or stew type dishes as a flavouring.
Snail House Bakery
This Sunday you can get your usual favourites from the Snailhouse bakery again.
Making a debut is Annette’s rye sunflower loaf. She hopes this will get more sun into our lives.
Her Rye sourdough loaf is much loved so Annette will make enough for everyone. Also look forward to country bread with 20% fine rye, sprouted grain and seed bread, wheat free stone age bread, Linzer tart, grain free earthquake chocolate cake, chia crackers, breadsticks and more.
