Mississippi Herbs has blueberry bread once again. Made with Windsong organic blueberries, it contains cornmeal, eggs, wheat flour and maple syrup. It can only be made with fresh blueberries so it’s a treat for blueberry season.

All our food is served on real porcelain plates with cutlery, tables and chairs supplied to sit around for our customers. Home made plum and tomato sauces to accompany.
TRADITIONAL COUNTRY PRESERVES
Traditional Country preserves – recipe from the cooking demo ( Ingredients all available from Farmers market expect vinegar)
CREAMY FRUIT VINEGRETTE (Gluten free recipe)
1 cup ripe berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries) or other summer fruits such as apricots stoned
1 Tablespoon runny honey
1 Tablespoon vinegar (wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar or cider vinegar but not malt vinegar )
1 Cup cold pressed olive oil or similar cold pressed oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional in salads etc a sprinkle of lightly roasted pine nuts
Blend first 3 ingredients together then slowly add the oil and season.
Will keep at least a week in the fridge.
Use with salad leaves, in potato, or other salads including hot or cold pasta or with summer fruits as a dip.
